5er Fest 2010 will be held at Road America during the 41st Annual BMW CCA 2010 Octoberfest( http://www.bmwccaofest.org/ ) in Elkhart Lake, WI during the week of August 23rd-29th.
The 9th Annual 5er Fest is a special event for owners and drivers of BMW E12, E28, and E34 5 Series cars. If you wish to join us in our annual event, please register on the BMW CCA Oktoberfest 2010 form and check the 5er Fest box (http://www.bmwccaofest.org/registration.phtml) .

The 3-day 'official' 5er Fest event (Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday) is at a special discounted rate of $95 for current BMW CCA members. Because all attendees at Oktoberfest must be club members (for insurance purposes), we are offering a special 5er Fest rate for non-'CCA members of $130. This is the regular 3-day day pass rate for these days, but it includes a one-year BMW CCA membership that normally costs $48.
The 3-day pass and the week registrations both include all Oktoberfest events as listed for those days. There will be a 5er Fest gathering area during the days on Wednesday and Thursday at the Badger Bimmers' "Bimmer Bivouac" across from the pit entrance at Road
Checking the box for the 5er Fest week enrolls you in the 5er Fest event, which will include special apparel, prizes, and participation at no additional cost above your Oktoberfest rate. However, because 5er Fest offers these special discounts and benefits, we are asking that all participants verify their involvement in a 5er community in some way.
1.) If you are registering for Oktoberfest with an E12, E28, or E34, you need do nothing more. You do not have to own the car; just drive it to Oktoberfest/5er Fest and you will be considered 'one of us'.
2.) If you are not registering the car, but you are driving it to Oktoberfest (hopefully not stolen), please verify its ownership as in #3, below.
3.) If you own an E12, E28, or E34 but you are not bringing it to Oktoberfest, please fax or email us a copy of some document showing your ownership. We will use these only to verify that you own one of the above cars and we will then return them to you in your registration packet at Oktoberfest.
4.) If you do not currently own a 5er or drive one to Oktoberfest, but you wish to join us, please email us and we will consider your involvement in the community on a case-by-case basis. You know who you are ...
Driver school and autocross entry fees are the same as for Oktoberfest. Simply register with a 5er and your car will be entered appropriately.
The autocross date is not yet final. A dedicated 5er Fest autocross may be held on Wednesday afternoon, or it may be held concurrently with the Oktoberfest autocross. All 5ers fall into Class 7 or Race classes, which will be run on Thursday if the Wednesday date doesn't come to pass.
